Music recommendation: Sumo Cyco

I just recently discovered the punk/metal band Sumo Cyco. It turns out they’ve been around a while now but what do you expect from an old man?

I first bought their 2017 album Opus Mar after hearing their song Free Yourself.

Did I mention they have amazing videos too?

Anyway, I enjoyed the album so much I quickly bought their 2014 album Lost in Cyco City. There is not a bad track on either album.

I’ve been listening to these two albums so much the past couple of weeks that they’ll probably end up in the rare class of great albums I stopped listening to because I played them so much.

I really think they have a unique sound and I dig their lyrics. They remind me of No Doubt if No Doubt was metal…and had talent.
