I came across this ‘ask a doctor’ article the other day and in it a reader asked the doctor what are the long-term effects of nicotine gum. This was the response…
Long-term use of nicotine gum has been linked with certain health problems like:
- Hair loss;
- Skin irritation;
- Elevated blood pressure;
- Irregular heartbeat;
- Insulin resistance;
- And gastrointestinal issues.
That’s worse than anything that has been attributed to vaping so far. Let’s not forget that gum is something that appeals to kids and they’re obviously marketing it to kids since it comes in flavors like fruit and mint.
Now do you see how stupid that sounds?
